(Flexible Global Product Development and Integration) is a european research project (2007-2009) including 38 consortium members from eight European countries. The volume of the project totals 40 million euros and its main goal is to apply agile methods in multitechnological software development projects. Particularly, FLEXI project aims at innovating new solutions for the central challenges of software organizations such as global and distributed software development and application of agility throughout the entire business model and production chains in organizations. The finnish consortium members of FLEXI are Elektrobit, F-Secure, Hantro, Nokia, Nokia Siemens Networks, University of Oulu, Reaktor Innovations, Tampere Technical University and VTT.
